50 Cent is probably the most hated on dude in hip hop; granted he plays a large role in the way people feel about him what with all the beef-starting (Ja Rule, Fat Joe), shots-taking (Lil Wayne, Kanye West) and for many other unnecessary ’sins’. However, if there’s one thing that no one can front on is that the guy is a hustler…. nah forget that: he’s your favourite hustler’s favourite hustler!!
Forbes, a magazine that never even mentioned rappers a scant 5 years ago, has recently named 50 Cent as the second highest-paid African American entertainer Stateside. Say what? Yeah, you read correctly! The hip hop bully raked in $150 million (+/- R1.5 billion) from June 2007 – July 2008. The rapper who was not so long ago broke and bullet-ridden in Queensbridge, was only topped by the Queen of Talk Oprah Winfrey. She pulled in a staggering $275 million (+/- R2.75 billlion)! Damn Honchos these figures only say one thing: LETS HUSTLE HARD AND GET THIS PAPER!!!! Amen.
