The good folks….. nuh, lets correct that; the stylish, sexy and fashionably-late peeps that make up Joburg’s trend-setting young stunna crowd came out in droves at the opening of the new Shesha store at The Zone, Rosebank in Johannesburg. My boy Tibz and I were privy to the organised chaos that was going on behind the scenes at the store in order to get it ready for the its jump-off party. So it was a great feeling seeing how well the store came together.

After much grinding and last-minute mopping, the spanking-new store was opened to an impressed crowd. Oooohs and Aaahs were sighed while the smell of new gear and kicks hung across the room in a teasing fashion. The new, reloaded Shesha stocks Nike Sportswear, Guess, Converse and of course, Head Honcho baby. This makes us the only local brand in the prestigious store.

The event was graced by some of Joburg’s coolest. Celebrity peeps like Kaizer Motaung Jr, Tumisho Masha, Siya, Fiks and Loyiso Gola mingled with everyone else while interviews were done by YFM, City Press and the Showlove documentary crew. Personally, we are grateful for the love that people showed Head Honcho. We can only do whats natural to us i.e. create fly gear that young urbanites will rock proudly.
