So we did the damn thing last week….. we hosted another legendary Head Honcho/BANK Productions party. And the results?? Do we really have to tell you? Okay cool….. here goes.
With our biggest line-up to date, the venue to be last Thursday was definitely Chrome nightclub in the Cape Town CBD. The venue was buzzing as early as 7pm when all the artists popped in to do sound check. The excitement was palpable amongst the lucky few that were present.
When it was time for the main show, peeps were lined up as early as 20 mins before the doors were set to open. By 11pm, a nice crowd had gathered and by12pm, the place was packed in time for the live performances.
Our performers for the evening, HHP, AKA, Ill Skillz, Khuli Chana and T-N-T held it down and had the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands. A big shout out to our boys T-N-T for successfully launching their new mixtape aptly titled “We Run the Block” on the night. The boys who are now repping 6th Avenue Records will be officially dropping the blazing-hot mixtape in the next couple of weeks. Be on the look out for it.
