Greetings from South Beach, Miami!! Possibly the world’s party capital and home of the Winter Music Conference…
Im so lucky to be here and also privileged to be sharing this with you. Just a bit of a background for y’all that don’t know how the hell I landed up here.
6 months ago I began an inaugural DJ ambassadorship for world renowned liquor brand Smirnoff. It is called the called the Smirnoff Turntable, which was a campaign to educate the masses about the beautiful art of “mash-ups”. Mash-ups are basically music mixes that mix different genres of music. It was an intense process – from online voting, to live radio mixing and gigs across the country…long story short, I worked my behind off and won. So now I’m here…
And thanks to my brothers at Head Honcho ill be doing Miami in style.
Over the next 8 days ill be showing you the unique things about this beautiful country – I have already encountered a lot and im sure you will appreciate the pictures.
The highlight thus far must be a boat cruise past Star and Fisher Island…which is where celebrities like Will Smith, Diddy, Oprah and J.Lo reside…I was totally blown away. Also met house diva Barbara Tucker and DJ Legend Terry Hunter!!
