We’ve kept you in the loop about the development of the most highly-anticipated sneaker drop this year. Oregon (Nike HQ) has finally released some official images of the Air Yeezy 2′s.

As you can see the main difference between the 1′s and 2′s is the hard ridge that runs along the back of the shoe … It’s a striking feature that gives these  new joints a Kanye-esque edge. Word is the joints will finally hit stores in June. You better save up as they won’t come cheap.

Like most sneaker fiends we’re not too big on the new Jordan models that are hitting the streets. Retro joints are where the game is at.

And where retros are concerned it doesn’t get better than these Jordan 4′s Retro .. The silhouette, colourway are  all on a hundred!

When Kanye dropped the Air Yeezy in 2009, his highly-anticipated sneaker collabo with Nike, all sneaker heads sat up and paid attention. The sneaker quickly sold out worldwide and became a cultural phenomenon. The likes of Jay-Z, LeBron James, Young Jeezy and of course Ye himself, were seen rocking the elusive sneaker on the regular.

After much speculation it looks like the Air Yeezy 2 will see the light of day after all. The above picture is of the man himself rocking the joints.  The black/pink colourway has a glow-in-the-dark outsole and features enhanced designs like the spiky heel. I am definitely getting a pair when they hit SA. Be prepared to drop major stack$ on ‘em.

Electronic Arts and adidas are teaming up for a special collaboration in conjunction with Need for Speed: The Run, the latest installment in EA’s Need for Speed gaming series. Players will not only be able to wear special Need for Speed-themed adidas apparel in the game, they’ll have the opportunity to purchase the limited edition gear for themselves at all adidas Originals stores.

I doubt we will get these in SA but if we do you guys will be the first to know.
