So Head Honcho once again collaborated with some really fresh brands to host one of CPT’s biggest hip hop events this year. The good folks of Glen 21, Vuzu TV and Channel O partnered with us in hosting America rapper MAINO at CHROME for his first ever Cape Town gig. As to be expected, the gig was mad fresh…. the turnout was on point; there was an abundance of hot Honcholinas (ladies) and of course, Maino delivered an entertaining and passionate performance.

All we can say is that Head Honcho did it again. We’ll keep offering you guys dope events and other lifestyle experiences to complement the fresh gear that we put out. Keep it locked on our Facebook group and on http://twitter.com/headhonchoSA for future events.

Ne-Yo, the award-winning R&B extraordinaire, will be bringing the house down in Cape Town at Bellville Velodrome on Tuesday night.

We’ve been tasked with hosting the mother of all After Parties the same night. So straight after his performance, Ne-Yo will come and party @ Chrome with his Cape Town fans…. Ladies you don’t wanna miss this one.

I repeat, Ne-Yo will be making a Special Guest Appearance…. so come party with the man himself.

The legendary MTV Base nights are returning to Cape Town …. next week Friday, 02 April 2010 is when it will all go down once again!

As per usual the line-up is fresh. Head Honcho fam Deep Level will be ripping it on stage alongside the incomparable JR . You can bet your socks off that the ubiquitous “Show Dem’” will be a highlight on the night.

On the 1’s and 2’s expect DJ Switch, pH, Trixx, Ashton Abels and Lyle. You best be there otherwise expect your mates to tell you all bout it the next day!

We’ve got a cool special for all of our Head Honcho fam on the evening…. we’ll let you know whats good closer to the time.

We are once again converging on our favourite night turf on the 29th of December. Chrome will play host to another epic party which will see actor/rapper PSYFO holding it down on stage alongside DJ Switch, the legendary Ready D, crowd favourite Lulo Cafe, Master M and Vigi.

The Head Honcho fam will be in the house …. so be sure to come through as this party will be one for the books.

So we did the damn thing last week….. we hosted another legendary Head Honcho/BANK Productions party. And the results?? Do we really have to tell you? Okay cool….. here goes.

With our biggest line-up to date, the venue to be last Thursday was definitely Chrome nightclub in the Cape Town CBD. The venue was buzzing as early as 7pm when all the artists popped in to do sound check. The excitement was palpable amongst the lucky few that were present.

When it was time for the main show, peeps were lined up as early as 20 mins before the doors were set to open. By 11pm, a nice crowd had gathered and by12pm, the place was packed in time for the live performances.

Our performers for the evening, HHP, AKA, Ill Skillz, Khuli Chana and T-N-T held it down and had the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands. A big shout out to our boys T-N-T for successfully launching their new mixtape aptly titled “We Run the Block” on the night. The boys who are now repping 6th Avenue Records will be officially dropping the blazing-hot mixtape in the next couple of weeks. Be on the look out for it.

Props to DJs Lulo Cafe, Franky, Leo Large, Buhle G, pH, Trixx and Tino for holding down the dancefloors. If you missed out, catch our 1st Anniversary parties in Cape Town and Joburg at the end of November ‘09.

Okaaaay…… let me make things clear. There’s a party and then there’s a Head Honcho party. This event falls in the latter category.

Head Honcho parties are synonymous with CRAZINESS + UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES + DOPE ENTERTAIMENT + FLYEST STYLE + BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.

The last time we collaborated with the BANK productions ladies we brought the house down. The Cape Town nightlife hasn’t been the same since.

This Thursday, 22 October ‘09, will be no different. In fact things might just turn out to be crazier. We’re launching newly-signed rap duo T-N-T’s first mixtape, which is blazing hot.

MTV base celebrates women in August, dedicating the second MTV base night to all the sexy, gorgeous, vibrant, dynamic ladies that truly make the world go round. Ladies, get your girlfriends together, grab your guy and get to INC in Jo’burg and Chrome in Cape Town on 7 August for the MTV base night party.

Catch MTV base VJ, Sizwe at INC in Braamfontein as he hosts the evening. Get down to the beats of C-Live, Milkshake, Dimples, Biz and 8^th Wonder & Soul Sista, with special guest performances by Zubz (who’s just dropped his new album) and Relo (Skwatta Kamp).

Chrome in Cape Town is just as hot – with the gorgeous MTV base VJ Fix getting her groove on. Other lovelies that’ll be rocking the decks include Suga, Irma G and Jeandre. Prepare to tear the lid off the roof with superstar performances from Da LES; Bongani and Ishmael – JOZI as well as new Flava from the Ghetto Ruff stable, Leelo.

Head Honcho and B.A.N.K did it again…… last Friday, we hosted the hottest party in Cape Town this year. The party revelers nearly tore the house down, literally. The 900 or so party people enjoyed the banging music courtesy of C-Live, Leo Large, T-N-T, pH and others. We don’t have much words for what went down but props to all the peeps that looked fly in Head Honcho gear. We appreciate the LOVE.
