The Honcho fam hosted another installment of STAY FRESH SUNDAYS at Casablanca in Cape Town this past Sunday. The event was like nothing else that we have done in the past. Head Honcho ambassador LULO CAFE put together an inspiring set. He performed with a live band with the help of songbird Nothende. The result was a captivating, soul-stirring performance that took people on a musical odyssey.

We rounded up the event with top notch sets from PARTY PEOPLE’s legendary DJ Kenzhero. He took the Honchos down memory lane with songs from Lauryn Hill, The Fugees, Mobb Deep and TLC. Props are due to all the other DJs that held it down on Sunday … pH, Groove Afrika, Saxso, Vybes, Leo Large & Fritz the Cat all put on dope  sets. Big Shout out to our partners for the evening i.e. Channel O, Power Play and Fish Eagle.

Head Honcho and YGB proudly present the next installment of STAY FRESH SUNDAY.

The biggest streetwear brand in SA is once again partnering up with Channel O, Power Play Energy drink and Fish Eagle on  a night to remember. February’s edition of STAY FRESH SUNDAY will see one of SA’s biggest house acts, Soul Candi’s LULO CAFE, put together a captivating live performance.

The DJ, who is typically known for spinning house tunes on the decks, will be accompanied by a band at this event. Nothende, the famed Joburg-based songstress, will round up Lulo’s band and will handle vocals on a couple of their collaborations.

Party People’s critically-acclaimed founder and DJ, Kenzhero, will head up the DJ line-up. He will be supported by some of Cape Town’s finest house and hip hop DJs, namely pH, Leo Large, Fritz the Cat, Groove Afrika and Lyle.

The party starts at 3pm and will go in till late in the evening. Come early so that you can enjoy the fresh Summer vibes at Casa Blanca.
