So I’m a year older today. I think of where I was and what I was doing last year… a lot has changed. Last year I celebrated my birthday with my dude Glen and we got smashed. This year I look forward to a quiet day, hopefully see the parents, my lady and my wolf pack… this is a first.

Since my 21st, my birthdays have always been major events but I guess that had a lot do with business… we all know that birthday parties have become a business. I’d rather keep the day sacred now… one day in the calender that actually belongs to me. It’s a good time to reflect, bask in a few accomplishments and set new goals and targets… there is always room to improve and at Head Honcho we move at a very strong pace.

Last week my profile in the September issue of GQ came out. This is a proud moment; besides the fact that I read the magazine, my businesses were also shown love and it was another showcase of how far we can take the tailored hustle… we want the covers!

Hope you enjoy Fanatic’s interview… he ripped the Showlove Dimes party at Latinova last Friday… it’s always amazing to see a room full of Head Honcho clothing. A few people were shocked that Franky, Lulo Cafe and myself pulled the Garden of Eden concept… fear not, September 5th we back stronger than ever and we’ll be Honcho’d up.

There is an issue I would like to address. Head Honcho is not interested in eliminating the likes of Ama kip kip from the game. We’ve noticed a few tweets from the public and it is very important that you know that we compete with ourselves first and then the game. We love and respect competition and wish no ill will on any person or brand.
